Making a Plan That Works is the fifth course in the Performance Management Program and teaches leaders how to build a plan that carries the goal forward and organizes the team’s movement throughout the year. A strong plan defines the work, sequences responsibilities, reflects the environment, and supports capability, timing, and execution.
Leaders learn how to design a pathway the team can follow, build a realistic and achievable plan, integrate indicators and checkpoints, and keep the plan alive through ongoing visibility and recalibration. This course helps leaders create structure, maintain alignment, and support consistent performance as the team moves through the year.
By the end of this course, leaders will know how to build a plan that is clear, grounded, flexible, and connected — a plan that strengthens execution and supports the entire performance system.
